From making our room available early for our jetlagged duo, to upgrading us for a special occasion--gorgeous balcony views, to personalized dinner recommendations, Grand Hotel Francais made our stay exceptional at every chance they could, and it was much appreciated. Would 100% recommend (but hope it won't be booked up for our next stay)!

We stayed one night at this Hotel and from the moment of our arrival until we left we could not have been more impressed with the courtesy and helpfulness of the Reception staff and other staff. Nothing was too much trouble in obtainingfor us some fresh milk, a bucket of ice and calling for a cab. The Room was spotless and the hotel is located in a shopping area with plenty of good places to eat nearby.

Stayiing at the Grand Hotel Francais made our trip to Paris even more enjoyable. I have already recommended this hotel to friends. Everything was top notch...location, cleanliness, breakfast, friendliness of the staff. We so appreciated the classy touches: slippers, delicious box of chocolates wrapped with a red bow plus a lovely welcome letter. Yes, we will definitely stay here again!

sehr schönes, sauberes, gemütliches zimmer, tolle lage: 2 min zur metrostation, sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites personal - alles bestens, perfekt für ein langes wochenende in paris! umgebung sehr angenehm, da "normales" wohnviertel - trotzdem schöne bistros, cafes, restaurants fussläufig.

Everything was great! A very clean, nice and friendly hotel. The room was nice, the staff excellent, breakfast delicious and exceeded our expectations. The location of the hotel is good: near transportation (metro just about 50 metres away). We would definately come back!

One of the most friendly hotels I have visited. The staff were courteous and extremly helpful. The hotel is in a nice location with plenty of good restaurants within easy walking distance. Greay for access to the Metro. The rooms are very nicely decorated and if I can use the bathroom at a height of 1.91m anyone can. All told I would use the hotel again without hesitation and would urge others to give it a try.

This was our second stay at Grand Hotel Francais. The first was for the Tour De France Final last July 2011. This is a top hotel with friendly welcoming staff and great rooms. Would definateley recommend and would stay again in a heartbeat. Stu

Brilliant stay in Paris. GHF was very convenient (despite being far from main attractions) thanks to Metro/RER links at Nation. Hotel was well decorated and very friendly staff. You recommended PoZaDa restaurant for food on our first night, which we thought was AMAZING (we went there twice). Room was very nice and stylish (a little small, but it was more than enough for our short stay, and I understand that most Parisian hotels have relatively small rooms). Will definitely consider staying at GHF if we visit Paris again. Thanks very much!

After reading reviews on trip advisor, decided to book it for a 3 day break. It lives up to its expectations and more. Very well situated for the Metro, 2 stations within easy walking distance. Front desk staff very well informed, very helpful and very polite. Rooms very clean and bright with everything you need. Even complimentary tea and coffee which is unusal in Europe. Outstanding moment...... on our return from a day out we found a complimentary bottle of champagne and 2 glasses, which we enjoyed... but the icing on the cake was the phone call from the front desk asking if we needed the ice replenishing !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Absolutely fantastic hotel, we arrived in February 2012 for our honeymoon and were upgraded on arrival which was a lovely pleasant surprise. The reception staff were fantastically helpful, explaining how to get to all the major tourist sites by metro and always greeting us pleasantly every day. Breakfast was varied and tasty and service was very good. 10/10, would definitely consider again.

Very friendly and helpful staff. For example, they recommended restaurants with great food yet moderate prices. The breakfast was excellent. Free wifi. Reasonable room price. Renovated bathrooms are really nice. Wish I had a shower like theirs in my home. Quiet rooms even on the street side. I was on the first floor facing the street. Really couldn't hear the traffic. Sound resistant windows.

My wife and I had a GREAT stay at this hotel. The staff was extremely nice and very accomodating to always help us with our way around the city. The hotel is about 2 block from two major metro stops, which each have about 4 lines a piece, so it was very easy to get to all of the major tourist attractions. The rooms are very modern, and the beds are extremely comfortable. It is a GREAT price for a GREAT accomodation! I would stay here again for a trip to Paris!
