The receptionist very kindly put us in a room on the first floor to make it as easy as possible for my wife to get to (she uses a wheeled walker). The staff were friendly and the room was tidied and cleaned very well.
Wonderful staff at the front desk..... Everyone e was so nice and helpful
Very helpful staff, clean, delightful hotel. Location ideal if moving around Paris and quiiet. Would stay again if we could
A very friendly small hotel. Was very glad we found it - thanks to the great reviews posted by others. We were travelling as a family (with very, very little ability to speak French) so the staff at reception were very helpful to all of us.
We chose the hotel using Trip Advisor, where it was highly recommended. We were not disappointed. The room was beautifully appointed and had everything we needed provided. The staff were more than welcoming and friendly. We would not hesitate to stay again, in fact, this would be our first choice.
Cannot rate the hotel highly enough, the staff at the reception were brilliant and so helpful even offering to bokk excursions for us. There was also a congradulatory message and a box of chocs on our bed on arrival to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary, little touches like this make this hotel stand out from the rest. The room was bigger than i expected from what i had heard previously about hotel rooms in Paris, the bathroom was spotless and modern and the room was cleaned everyday during our 3 night stay. Location wise it is brilliant halfway between two metro stations (Nation and Voltaire) which means it is so easy to make your way around Paris. When we do go back to Paris we will look no further than the Grand Hotel Francis.
Wonderful hotel, fantastic service !
The customer service was great. They were very friendly and helpful. The reason it was a 4 out of 5 is because the walls were very thin so you could hear others conversations, they were unable to put all of my family on the same floor, which is understandable. Lastly, the breakfast was a great and the staff were awesome but the cost of breakfast was pricey. I had a great time minus the rain in Paris.
VERY NICE ROOM AND VERY COLD AIR CONDITIONING It was a modern room, very contemporary, upgraded bath, not big but not cramped We had an upgraded room, about 2 levels up from basic Front desk was very friendly and helpful
We are very satified in terms of our stay in Grand Hotel Francais. The location is very convenient, it's a short walk from metro Rue Des Boulets station and c. 15 minutes to Nord station which can connect with international railways. The supermarket is right opposite to the hotel and there is a small bake shop which offer excellent pastry / croissant ! In terms of the room, the view is fabolous. With a free upgrade and a bottle of red wine as a complement, this surprised us and made our honeymoon unforgettable ! The room is well equiped and everything is very clean and tidy. Denfinitely will come back again and recommend to other relatives and friends of this little gem in Paris !
The staff could not be faulted. They were extremely attentive and even completed attended to our washing while we enjoyed a wonderful day in Paris. Breakfast alwayss fresh. Conveniently located very near two metro stations and restaurants and a supermarket.
Very clean hotel, can't really fault it. Room was very small but to be expected in Paris.
We stayed in a couple hotels but THE GRANDE was by far the best Best room, best bathroom, best breakfast, best price which makes up for the cab fare it takes to get to the center of Paris. You can walk it in a good pair of tennis shoes. We did a little of both.
great rooms but small, very clean, helpful staff, very good breakfast
