The reception staff were extremely helpful within our short stay. The room was clean and cozy, and the staff were kind and helpful. I had a great support for my first trip to Paris in this hotel. nettes Hotel - kleine Zimmer (wie überall in Paris) kann ich weiter empfehlen :-) My wife and I had a GREAT stay at this hotel. The staff was extremely nice and very accomodating to always help us with our way around the city. The hotel is about 2 block from two major metro stops, which each have about 4 lines a piece, so it was very easy to get to all of the major tourist attractions. The rooms are very modern, and the beds are extremely comfortable. It is a GREAT price for a GREAT accomodation! I would stay here again for a trip to Paris! Notre séjour était magnifique ! L'hôtel est super et les employés sont disponibles! Le petit déjeuner est très bon. L'hôtel est bien placé, mais il manque un parking privatif, ou un partenariat avec vinci park. J'ai aimé les chocolats, la champagne et le bouilloire pour chauffer l'eau et faire du thé dans la chambre! Très charmant!!!! We stayed in the Hotel for two nights and were very pleased. Very clean, quiet and cosy. Friendly and helpful staff. The room was well equipped, quiet with very soft and comfortable bed and sophisticated bathroom. It looks like someone puts a lot of effort in design and upkeep of this wonderful place. The Hotel is only minutes away from Nation station from where the fast train takes only two stops to the centre of Paris. Will definitely come back to stay here in the future. Wir werden in Paris dieses Hotel sicher wieder besuchen und weiterempfehlen. A perfect hotel, excellent value for money in an expensive city. Extremely friendly staff who couldn't do enough to help, speaking perfect english (although always good to try your french!). Metro just acros the boulevard making access to the city's sights in easy reach. Clean, modern and upgraded to an Executive room....thank you for a wonderful stay!! We will be back! The counter staff was very helpful and accomodating. We got a room upgrade FOC and the hotel staff were all polite and professional. The facilities in the room were also branded and in very good condition. The hotel was also near to good restaurants and the Metro. What topped off a great excperience was the free champagne for Christmas which was a very nice gesture by the hotel. Definitely will stay in Grand Hotel Francais if i return to Paris. Location was a little to far from our centerof interest We loved our stay at Grand Hotel, the room was a great size and the little touches such as chocolates on the bed upon arrival added to the enjoyment of our stay. Gare du Nord is only 15-20 minutes away by metro and so are all other points of interest. Rooms are small but very comfortable and perfectly suited for those who want to explore Paris rather than spending all day in their hotel room. Front desk service very friendly and knowledgeable, they have some decent recommensations for local restaurants. A simple but decent and tasty breakfast is served in the basement. This place is a no brainer for my next visit as it exceeded all my expectations. We were very happy with choice of hotel. It was clean and newly decorated, staff were very friendly and helpful. This hotel is great! It's really well-communicated -with two near tube stations-, it's situated in a street with lots of different places to eat and shops to buy and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are really clean and they welcome you with two small bottles of wine and a box of chocolates. In the morning, there are free newspapers and magazines to take and read and the breakfast is quite good, too. The hotel was very helpful even before I arrived, helping me to arrange a booking at a jazz club as part of the surprise 30th birthday trip I was planning for my other half. One of the gentlemen on the the desk spent most of one day finding a restaurant for us! Couldn't fault it really! The location is quite convenient given the vicinity of the metro and RER lines. Access from CDG airport was pretty easy too. The staff are very helpful and funny. We got an upgrade from superior room to a privilege room which was very nice too. Definitely recommend it! Zayed and Nicolas were extremely helpful and went out of their way to make us feel welcome there and also strove to steer us in the right direction as far as having the best Parisian experience possible. Zayed in particular recommended great restaurants in the area, so definitely take him up on his suggestions. My wife and I have stayed at more expensive hotels in other destinations all over the world, but have never received such great care and attention before. We will definitely be back one day soon and would stay in this hotel in a heartbeat. We spent two nights at Grand Hotel Francais and what sets it apart is the fantastic customer service! The room itself was VERY small but nicely furnished and very clean (comfortable mattress too). The hotel was out of the CBD - which we wanted - but everything was easily accessible by metro. The restaurant that we went to on their recommendation ended up being one of the best meals we had during our entire 4 week European holiday. The room was stylishly decorated and had a great bathroom. While the hotel is not slap bang in the middle of the city, we had no problems getting to all the major attractions by walking or metro. A metro station is almost outside the front door and a major interchange just at the end of the street. Would definitely recommend this Hotel and would stay there again if ever back in Paris. Desde el comienzo de nuestro viaje, la reserva on line de la habitación fue fácil y expedita. Realmente bien ubicado, cercano a dos estaciones de metro, en un barrio maravilloso y tranquilo con panaderías, restaurantes, lavandería y tiendas a pocas cuadras. Limpio, con una presentación impecable de habitaciones, ambientes y personal. Habitación acogedora, segura y de tamaño adecuado con una linda vista al barrio. Cuenta con un frigobar con 2 aguas minerales de cortesía, lo que se agradece luego de llegar de un viaje largo. Además lo puedes utilizar para guadar tus provisiones durante tu estadía. Lo único que podría agregar es que extrañé una cafetera o un hervidor de agua en la habitación. El desayuno era rico. Contaba con alternativas dulces y saladas, todas muy buenas y suficientes para comenzar un dia de paseos y excursiones por la ciudad. El personal fue acogedor y siempre dispuesto a solucionar cualquier problema o duda (incluso en nuestra lengua nativa el español). Estaban pendientes de nuestras entradas y salidas y nos identificaban claramente como pasajeros de su hotel (cosa que a veces se extraña en otros hoteles). Al momento del check out, nos dieron la facilidad de dejar nuestro equipaje en custodia y así pudimos aprovechar varias horas libres antes del vuelo de vuelta a casa. En resumen, recomendamos plenamente el Grand Hotel Francais. De hecho estamos programando un nuevo viaje para Julio 2011 y sin duda volveremos a alojarnos ahí. From the moment we arrived, until the day we left all of the staff attended to our needs and wants. The hotel is very well appointed, and close to the Metro, which is very convenient. Restaurants and small shops (a wonderful bakery) are close too. Zyad takes great pride in his hotel and it shows! The hotel is really nice, roooms are a bit small but clean and well maintained and with a spoiling touch. The hotel has great location, with good Metro and RER connectivity. Waliking distance to nice neighborhoods such as Le Marrais, and shopping streets. The stuff is really nice and welcoming willing to help and provide information. I would recommend this hotel for both business and pleasure trips. Very pleased, with extraordinary staff. Highly recommended. I really enjoyed my stay at Grand Hotel Francais. I felt at home very quickly during my 4 night stay there on my first visit to Paris. My room was compact, but very nicely decorated, comfortable and reasonably priced. The hotel's manager and his staff were friendly and helpful with all guests including those who spoke little or no French. The neighborhood is quiet and the hotel is less than a 10 minute walk from the Nation metro station which offers connections to several Metro lines. I will definitely be back when I return to Paris!
